May Speaker – Mike Armour May Speaker

Mike Armour brings together a rare combination of experiences in leadership, corporate management, ministry, and public speaking. At 37, he became one of the youngest college presidents in the U.S. Two years later he was promoted to commander as an intelligence officer in the naval reserve, ultimately retiring as a captain with 35 years of Naval service. The Department of Defense decorated Mike three times for pioneering work in computerizing the naval intelligence community.

Interspersed through his years of organizational leadership, Mike served as the senior pulpit minister for three large congregations in California and Texas, all of them heavily attended by entrepreneurs and top-tier executives. They often came to him with critical professional issues which they faced, and ultimately led to his founding of Strategic Leadership Development International in 2001. Since then, Mike has personally coached over 800 executives, managers, and entrepreneurs and have trained thousands more on four continents.

Mike also has extensive international experience. For nearly five years, he was the CEO of a Christian humanitarian organization working in former nations of the Soviet Union. Later, Mike opened a subsidiary of his leadership development firm in East Africa.
