Propelled by a passion for Kingdom endeavors, Milton Key has been advancing faith-based missions and working closely with generous believers for more than 30 years. With hands-on experience across the spectrum of professional fundraising, Key’s primary areas of engagement are major gifts/relationship-based funds development, campaign planning and execution, volunteer leadership development, and mentoring fellow professionals.

Key has served in leadership roles for a diverse body of faith-based organizations. His teams have generated charitable gifts in excess of $400 million, to improve the lives of and opportunities for students, patients, children, families, and senior adults. He has served the Association of Fundraising Professionals at the international and chapter levels as a board member, officer, and presenter. He is an ordained Presbyterian elder and is active in music and stewardship, as well as in local and global missions.

A long-time resident of North Texas, Key has been married for 30 years and is a father and a grandfather. He enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, being a Texas Tech Red Raider fan, and spending time on the cattle ranch his grandfather established over 70 years ago.

Interspersed through his years of organizational leadership, Mike served as the senior pulpit minister for three large congregations in California and Texas, all of them heavily attended by entrepreneurs and top-tier executives. They often came to him with critical professional issues which they faced, and ultimately led to his founding of Strategic Leadership Development International in 2001. Since then, Mike has personally coached over 800 executives, managers, and entrepreneurs and have trained thousands more on four continents.
